Minutes of 2007 Reunion were presented and approved as read

Dick Fiske and “Sam “ McConnell welcomed all in attendance and thanked all who arrived early to stock and set up the Hospitality Suite.

A detailed treasurers report was presented by “Sam” Mc Connell stating that we were financially sound, records are in order and auditable. Our bottom line balance is $9390.20.  A complete hard copy is on file and copies are available from “Sam” and on line on our website. With due diligence we should be solvent for 6 years in spite of our low income stream due to so many Life Memberships. Our accounts draw no interest because we are a NON PROFIT CORP and not required to have a TAX ID (EI Number)/

The treasures report was approved by voice vote.

Carl Weber raised a point of how to raise funds when we fall below a $5000.00 threshold. A special assessment was discussed and ruled out at this time in favor of a voluntary appeal. The executive board will develop a method to address the problem and present it to the membership. The motion was passed by voice vote with one nay  

New Membership Certificates were awarded to those new members in attendance.

A motion was introduced, seconded, discussed and approved to grant Associate members a voice and vote in the organization.

Carl Weber gave a report on the Sub Vets WWII meeting

John Mosticone raised the question on; Who has accesses to the Web Server?

A point was raised by  Sam to insist that Mike Brood submit expense reports so that he is properly reimbursed.

A discussion ensued on the location  dates of our 2009 reunion. The site selected is the New London area in Sept or Oct over a week end. A committee was established to do the planning ( Dick Fiske, Ron Mueller, Carol Elnicki, and Ann Mc Connell)

Officer Nominations  were made and election was held electing

Abe Kern                  Secretary
Sam Hornreich volunteered to assist the President with the work load.

The Meeting was adjourned at 1508 hrs
