HRS Gordie McKibben opened the meeting Minutes from
last years meeting read by Bryan Waller. Motion to accept minutes as read,
passed by membership. Treasury
Report General Fund > $9000.00
Reunion Fund > $1000.00
Ships Store > $1500.00
Scholarship $3475.00 Motion to accept
Treasury Report as read: 1st Al Yancy 2nd Mike Sobkowski

Business Bryan discussed communication and demographics shifting from email
to Facebook.
Gaining of new membership has declined.
New Business Scholarship Fund – Mike Sobkowski talked about the
scholarship fund and how this is our legacy to hand down to the next
generation.
Applications have steadily
increased each year.
Talked about the increase from
$500 to $1000 for the scholarship.
Discussed incorporating as a
501.3c for tax deductions and matching grants.
Administration cost to
incorporate is approximately $300.
Discussed posting winning essays
to web site and Facebook.
Motion to form as a 501.3c
incorporation. 1st Chuck ? 2nd Johnny Picklesimer
Passed by membership.
Discussed donating the 50/50
raffle to the scholarship fund.
Motion to donate 50/50 raffle to
scholarship. 1st Sam Hoernish 2nd Al Yancy
Passed by membership.
Next year Reunion discussion.

Sympathy card for Jerome Whitehead will be passed around at the
dinner and donations collected in his fathers name.

Motion to donate $500 to Razorback museum. 1st Norman
March 2nd Bill Scarboro Passed by membership.
Bryan Waller is donating a plaque of the USS Bergall to the
Razorback Museum.
