The DSRV goes deep and a Bergall rescue

Memories of Ben Matthews
In 1978 Bergall did an operation with the DSRV.

These first two were taken on board the DSRV at 2600' !
The Chief is Chief John Geltz, guy with the Beard is Radiomen George Mazurek, and the red haired guy is Gary Bisbee a Machinist Mate. and the blonde haired guy is me.

The guy with the mustache is Cosmos Joseph Zizzi Jr. a Sonarman.

Here's a helo rescue of one of our guys off our deck.
He got swept over the side but in the end all was well. The helo was from.
the British ship HMS Ark Royal.
