Friday found many of us loaded on a bus and headed to sub school to attend the Bergall Class of
the Basic Enlisted Sub School graduation.  After heading in a typical sailor wander around the
base, we got to see some of the old haunts of the guys...

As we head to see the BESS graduation.

The Bergall "guests" made up quite a group and we sure showed our appreciation.


And we were STILL filtering in and settling down.


Dick made presentations from our Association to the Class Honorman and winner of
the Navy League award, SR(SU) Cameron Hugill.


They even were honored to hear a special thanks and encouragement from Nishan.


As they started to officially graduate, they were obviously a bunch of fine young men.


Each graduate was allowed to round the room and Nishan thanked them and presented them with a
Bergall Association pin to commemorate the achievement.


Good thing Nishan had his breakfast, there were lots of hands to shake.


And isn't there always one of the sailors that seems just a bit TALL for the boats?

 

Afterwards the sub school had a very nice slideshow presentation for the two boats... rather like a quick
snapshot of the website... but very nice... you can download a reduced version in wmv format
