WHERE:	Marriott North Charleston 4770 Goer Drive Charleston, SC 29406 We have a block of 40 rooms at $132 per night Thurs-Sat. Reservations for the Event will be made by USS Bergall attendees directly to the North Charleston Marriott via on-line booking or calling 843-747-1900 by 9/6/2016 to ensure the discounted rate.
WHO:	All officers, crewmembers, wives and family of the SS 320, SSN 667 and S_324 and families and friends of shipmates who are "Resting Their Oars" are also always welcome.
HOSPITALITY SUITE:	The Bergall Hospitality Suite has always been a hit... so we will have one. Please bring sea stories and liberty lies to share and enjoy. Financial donations to support the Hospitality Suite are always welcome. Cost to provide snacks and drinks is approximately $1500-$2000 for a reunion and not covered in any fee, just through donations.

2 Special Offering !!	H.L. Hunley Private Tour Mike Sobkowski has arranged a private tour of the Hunley at 12:30pm on Friday Oct 14th Cost is $20 per person and we need at least 20 people to sign up. We can accommodate more than 20 and possibly all interested attendees. Tour is approximately 1.5 hours in length and the Conversation Center is about 15 minutes from the hotel. Please contact Mike Sobkowski (mikes7@verizon.net) or at (717) 671-1070 with a headcount on those attending by September 9th so we can have a good idea if there is enough interest or the need to cancel. In 1864, the H.L. Hunley became the first submarine to sink an enemy warship. Unfortunately, before she could return home, the sub disappeared with her eight-man crew off Sullivan's Island, S.C. Her fate was a mystery until she was discovered in 1995 by a diving expedition led by author Clive Cussler. Five years later, the vessel was lifted from the ocean floor and brought to the Warren Lasch Conservation Center in North Charleston, S.C. where a team of scientists are working to conserve the historic submarine for future generations. The H.L. Hunley is located at: Warren Lasch Conservation Center 1250 Supply Street (on the old Charleston Navy Base) North Charleston, South Carolina 29405 Spirtline Cruise Dinner Cruise Ed Gibbons and Kathy Gatlin have generated some interest in a nice dinner cruise. The group rate is $60.52 per person (includes tax and gratuity). Dessert is usually not included, but as a thank you for your service, dessert will be included. There will be a cash bar and live entertainment. Must have at least 15 people signed up to get this group rate. If we do not have a group of 15 or more the price will be $68.53 per person. The Battery/ White Point Gardens The Battery is located at the southern most tip of the Charleston Peninsula, where Murray Blvd. and East Battery (East Bay) Street meet. Part of The Battery is White Point Gardens and collectively they are the landmark that helps to define Charleston Old City Market The Market is consistently on our Things To Do In Charleston Top 10 Best list! A must see! Dating back to 1841, Market Street features independent merchants selling their wares in an open air setting, including Gullah ladies weaving the ever famous sweetgrass baskets. SpiritLine Dinner Cruise A three hour evening cruise on the water! Especially when it comes with a multi-course dinner, live music and exceptional views of the Charleston Harbor! Middleton Place Dating back to c. 1741, Middleton is a National Historic Landmark with an Inn, restaurant, America's oldest landscaped Gardens and Stableyard demonstrations of life in the 18th century. The magnitude of this plantation is awe-inspiring! Rainbow Row This section on East Bay Street, built between the 1720's-1790's, was considered the 'slum' area of Charleston after the Civil War. It was renovated in the early 1900's and given Caribbean colors that are still seen today. This stretch of East Bay Street has been dubbed 'Rainbow Row' and has become a familiar 'face' of Charleston. King Street Shopping District The most famous shopping area of Charleston is located between Broad and Spring Streets. Sprinkled throughout are great bars & restaurants in case you need a little 'sit down' between your sprees! Waterfront Park Enjoy a leisurely swing on the pier while looking for dolphins in the Harbor with the USS Yorktown as the backdrop. The Pineapple fountain of Charleston can also be found here with other intimate gardens and jogging paths along the water's edge.
