Many in the group decided to have lunch aboard the paddle wheel, Arkansas Queen.
After a slow start to get everything lined up (Dick, again, pulled it all together) we were hauled across the river via the nice hotel shuttle.

Crossing the gangway, some of the girls noticed the protected area had turtles...
Remember the turtle from the room? A nice coincidence... thanks Carol.

We noticed one small one showing the group how to do the breath stroke.

That was all it took and then there was a traffic jam as EVERYBODY wanted to play!
(OK, it doesn't take mmuch to amuse us...)

With the buffet lucheon scheduled to start after she left the dock, we secured a nice table at the stern.

And what to behind us? Yep, the USS Razorback... how appropriate.

Looking through the wheel gives a nice shot.

Here's a nice shot of Mac and Anne as we get settled in.

Grabbing a close up of the SS 394 bow.

Then we got a side shot as the Arkansas Queen untied and headed upriver.

Abe, Carol, Patti, Mike and Mac. Carol, loosen up!!!

Looking across,, it's apparent we still need to get Carol in the mood...
So Don flips his cap backwards.

Then reverses his jacket and turns around... this should get a smile here and there.
Dick, you can't take a nap... we are just getting started.

Anne, Dick, Don, John and Andy.

Don is all decked out and Patti hugs her better half.

Oops... Carol has began to loosen up... gentlemen, prepare to be tickled.

"No Towboats Allowed"? Ahhh, and it's such a work of art.
Although the towboat is cute... a bit TALL for the beam?

Having eaten, a few of us headed for the bow and the open air.
No that's NOT a cookie.   Explain THAT one Dick.

Looking up at the wheel house.

What's our web secretary up to and why isn't he in a dress?

Off to the left of the pier.. see that SMALL outcrop of stone...
Would you believe that is how it got called Little Rock?
And I said WE were easily entertained?

We catch Don and Yuko taking a nice break at the stern as the calliope starts up.

Ole Don looks like he may be up to something...

Yep, he danced a jig for us to the following...
"click"   then click "back" on your browser to return and
appreciate Don's jig.

On our way back, here's a nice skyline.

Turning into the pier.

Patti Lynn saw the Sub Vet blazers and though she would go down and "frame a shot"...

And she did a FINE job!

Here's her shot as we turned to tie up.

And this was just one of the highlights to a great reunion...
